I'm going to cheat and combine posts 'cause I've been sick.

Shay posted that the peoples should go out and vote and yesterday and I hope you did. And she later blogged that she was pleased with the results.

Like I said I wasn't feeling to good but I did make it out to vote but not to Shay's patriotic art show or to the campus pub to watch the results live.

But while I was watching the live footage from my living room Dani was filming the pub's reaction for MTV. Shay got it from her blog and I got it from Shay's blog and now I am blogging it to you.

Hello Panda

Shaytown is all done with her montage and I am pleased. She did an entire history course in 5 days and now she can shower and eat the panda head treats that I got her at the Comic Shop.

But if anyone else wants to get her treats she's asking for pastries in her latest blog.

She also would like people to know about her painting in the president show on campus but I don't understand when I'm supposed to see it. Opens at 8am? Is that the official opening where I might find snacks or is it just when her professor or perhaps some T.A. unlocks the doors?

Only time will tell. Meanwhile I'm on quarantine having seemingly contracted whatever stomach bug that is moving around my work. So I will watch Halloween Simpsons and read my mom's dirty blog, resisting the urge to answer questions she poses.

Maybe later I'll let everyone know which conversation the title of Shay's latest blog is in reference to.

Fun Fact: If you give Shaytown too much sugar she falls asleep.

I was using Shay's computer today and noticed that she had recently googled "Booyakasha" I figured this was because my birthday is coming up and she's getting me something awesome, so I said nothing.

Turns out its the title to her latest blog entry. In it she talks about the progress she's making on her homework and how in a history montage she'll sometimes get distracted by story instead of paying close attention to the details.

I do this too. In history class we made awesome study buddies 'cause we both had to concentrate hard to remember dates and names.

Booyakasha would be excellent on a cake or t-shirt.

Today Shay made us a whole new blog for our radio show. so far its pretty cool. It has past playlists, audio files, and doodles that shay made during the show.

Eventually she might link our cafe press store.

Now she's doing homework again.

Today Shaytown posted a blog linking videos that she's been watching instead of doing homework.

She has excellent taste in interweb videos. One is about 2 happy pandas w/lolly pops and the other one is a literal version of an Ah Ha video that I showed her a few weeks ago. It rocks my socks.

New bumper stickers

A few days ago Shaytown posted a blag announcing the arrival of her radio station's new bumper stickers.

Everyone is super excited and are asking her to mail them around the us. I can't wait to see a possible follow up blog when she starts to get pictures from people who are using them.

Damn. Shaytown is the superior blogger. She's been documenting how she cast sculptures in cuttlefish bones and busted out a blog all about it at 1:41am complete with pictures.

I was worried that she noticed that I had a second blog when she watched me post on my photoblog but so far she hasn't said anything.

She has access to a blackberry now so soon blogs should be flying left and right.

I'm going to have to stay on it.

Shay's posted her travel plans for winter holiday on all three.

She's real excited. I'm bummed that I'm going to miss out on the fun but I'm happy for her.

Also she's started planning ways to impress Her boyfriend's mom. Very clever.

Shaytown has been waiting for Brodie Dale's new band to release more songs for a good long while now. She just got access to Valium Knights via the Myspace. Before that it was just a mash up.

I'm going to look for youtube videos of them.

I just got home from work at found that Shay posted on her Facebook blog.

Today's topic was an open invitation for friends to come see our work along with many others at this month's First Friday. First Friday is where local galleries show their new stuff and there is plenty of free snacks and wine.

I don't drink much but I am a big fan of both snacking and art.

Shaytown is pretty talented so I'm glad she's letting people know that her stuff got in. I was wondering when she would announce it. I had been starting to worry that I wasn't supposed to call up my buddies and their moms right after I found out.

What's done is done but her blog was much classier than my garbled voice mail messages.

Now this might sound weird to some, and I'll admit that while nothing Shay does surprises me I wasn't sure what her latest Twitter update was referring to.

But then I remembered that she is taking the same sculpture class that I was taking a few years ago. She is probably working on a mold for something that she hasn't told me about yet.

But I could be gravely mistaken.

I haven't decided if I'm going to let her know that I'm following all of her blogs now or if I'll pretend not to know.

It is hard for me to trick her so she may find this blog sooner if I act suspicious.

First Post

My heterosexual life partner and best bud forever, Shaytown, has been complaining that I don't read her blogs enough so I've decided to make her feel better in the only way that I know how.

I am creating a blog about her blog.

Now to be fair she has multiple blogs. Three written ones, two comics, a website, youtube account, deviantart, and a twitter.

She keeps odd hours.

And we share an apartment and host a radio show together so I'm around to hear most of her material before it hits the blogosphere.

But I'm going to do my best.

Starting now:

Last night Shaytown (my nickname for her later turned into her autobiographical comic's name)couldn't sleep. She's been fighting some sort of terrible flu and its got her schedule messed up. But she hasn't let that hold her back blog wise.

At 11:19pm Alaska time she posted a blog about how things are going well. The entry was entitled "Crap I am proud of" and it shows and excellent picture of her new studio space in the painting studio. I caught her with the picture up on her monitor before she posted but she told me that I had to wait till she posted it on her blog to get a good look at it. It was brightly colored and had been labeled to show the different parts of her space so I really wanted to see it.

Luckely I managed to convince her to let me see so I didn't have to wait. But what I didn't know was that she was also going write about how the bulletin board she designed for the radio station turned out really well. She had pictures of that too and it looks quite hip.

After that you'd think she'd be done for the night. But at almost 4 in the morning she posted another excellent blog, this time about how she couldn't sleep despite the fact that she was still taking cough syrup for the bug that she hasn't been able to shake. Late nights plus cough syrup was leading to all sorts of artist inspiration for Shaytown so she kept getting out of bed to jot down ideas and diagrams for her thesis art show.

When she wasn't in her room thinking about art she was outside walking her dog in the first snow.

During all of this I slept and dreamed. But she did not mention me.

She finished the blog with photos of her dog eating snow and peeing in front of our house. But not in that order.
